Earth shoes were one of the trademark fashions of the 1970s. These boxy suede leather shoes were instantly recognizable and popular with the young, hip generation. Earth shoes were marketed as being more natural and comfortable; their negative-heel design, where the heel of the shoe is lower than the toe, set them apart from other shoes. If you’re lucky enough to own a pair of these retro shoes, you’ll want to give them the care they deserve so they provide years of comfortable wear.

      Step 1

      Clean your earth shoes after wear. Brush and remove dirt with a soft-bristled plastic or rubber-tipped brush or a soft cloth. Use a spray or liquid leather cleaner periodically; these products are available in most shoe stores. Never wash your leather Earth shoes in a washing machine—they will most likely be ruined.

      Step 2

      Condition your Earth leather shoes with a high-quality leather or suede conditioner to keep your shoes soft, flexible and looking new. Rub a small amount of conditioner into the leather with a soft, clean rag and allow it to dry. Does anyone know of any websites where I can buy the Earth Shoes that are sold in the Walmart stores? They aren’t on walmart.com and I have searched some websites, but only found the expensive earth shoes that are around $100. Please help.

That would be a problem. Maybe they just don’t sell at Walmart? I would try maybe going on google and typing in the type of shoes, maybe you can find another place that carries them!
